About Us

From its origins as a small one man operation, started by Lyndon Kennedy, transporting fish, freight and travellers from Greenwell Point to Nowra each day in 1935, Kennedy's Bus & Coach has come a long way. And one thing they haven’t forgotten along the way is the importance of family and customer service.
Lyndon Kennedy’s two sons, John & Ray, progressed into the business, continuing the bus runs while working for Pioneer Motor Service.

In 1995 they purchased Kangaroo Valley, Cambewarra, and Moss Vale services and their business started to expand, this required John and Ray to work fulltime in developing Kennedy's Bus & Coach, which has seen the business grow into one of the most modern and up to date bus and coach fleets in NSW.
Unfortunately Ray passed away in 2001 but his son, Tony Kennedy, continues to work in the family business as driver and head mechanic.

We now have 15 Buses, ranging from a 19 seater up to 65 seater. Being an Accredited Motor Vehicle Repairer you will be assured our modern bus and coach fleet are superbly maintained.
We provide school and regular passenger services and are widely recognised for our successful coach touring and charter operations. We are particularly proud of the quality of what we provide and the team effort that goes into this business.

We have also diversified our business market within the company and we are constantly thinking of new and better ways to do things and improve the services that we provide.
With the introduction of Kennedy's Tours we can now offer an even greater range of holidays, with many of our customers enjoying trips to places like Norfolk Island, Fiji and New Zealand, in addition to our Australian based coach holidays and day trips.
